This is a nice example of a 1930's Fowler's Universal circular calculator with the chrome backplate, in its original leather case.

In full working order, the scales perform numerous mathematical functions including multiplication, cube roots and square roots.

Weighing just over 280 grams in its case, the calculator measures 85mm in diameter has a nice clean dial, and is in very good cosmetic condition retaining all its chrome plating.

It comes in a black leather case which has all of its stitching intact, and is accompanied by an original copy of the 48 page 'Fowlers Universal Calculator' instructions by William H Fowler, which includes on the inner cover a dedication from him to his son Harold Fowler.
